I bought my unfinished teak dining table years ago (2010 to be exact) and 12 years later this thing is still looking great! I credit it looking so good to the fact that teak is a tropical hardwood that is full of oil, which makes it harder to penetrate and ruin. Because it is unfinished, I can “erase” marker and scratches.
How do I keep my kids from ruining the table despite being exposed to permanent marker, scratches from metal objects, and spaghetti sauce? Well, it’s pretty simple…Check out this video to see what I do to care for my chic, kid-proof dining table.
Would you ever have an unfinished teak table? Let me know!
