  I needed advice, guidance and suggestions to reach the goal of changing the look of our kitchen. I wanted to alter the color scheme and add a new table and chairs…in general improve the entire look of the kitchen without changing cabinetry or appliances.  I contacted Lee Waters for that assistance on an hourly consultant basis.  Lee was absolutely great to work with.  During the course of our visit, measurements, color recommendations, and additional changes in lighting, wall colors and more were all covered.  Lee was so attentive, explained rationale behind her suggestions, kept cost of options suggested in mind, and gave me the confidence to move ahead.  All the items discussed and recommendations made during that visit were put in writing for me to reference afterword along with further resources and/or vendors when applicable.  Our kitchen has truly been transformed, and I could not be more pleased.  Our needs were small compared to a full-service design project, but the attention, consideration, thoroughness and follow through Lee provided give me no hesitation to recommend her, or for requesting her services again should we be presented with a much bigger project in the future.

Answers to frequently asked questions.

Can we go to Greenfront or somewhere else outside of Richmond (up to 1 hour away)?

Yes, Green Front Furniture is an optional upgrade (additional $200). Yes, we are open to other locations. There will be a space provided for you to make notes and ask questions when you book your appointment.

Who should attend?

We encourage attendance of clients only to avoid “too many cooks in the kitchen”. We also do not recommend bringing children that need supervision as we will be moving at a very swift pace.

Who is driving?

You will be responsible for driving yourself throughout our day together.

What should I expect to be accomplished by the end of the day?

Will we be stopping for lunch or dinner?

Yes, depending on how the day goes, either lunch or dinner. Feel free to bring snacks for yourself.

Who is this service best suited for?

People with healthy budgets and decisive minds. We will move fast and furiously to pull together a beautiful, functional and well polished room.

Can we use this service for multiple rooms?

This service is for one entire/complete room. We are happy to book multiple sessions to help take care of every room in your house should you desire.

What if I need more time?

You are welcome to purchase a Remote Design Session to answer any lingering questions or book another Designed in a Day package to design another room.

Who is responsible for ordering and installation?

The client is responsible for ordering and arranging for delivery and installation. We will provide you with the contact information for professional installers and movers. If you would rather turn the entire project over to us, please see our All In Design Service. We are happy to manage your design from start to finish!
