At LWD Design Sessions are trending, so this is the perfect time to make the most of summer vacation. Scheduling a Design Session is exactly what you need to treat yourself to, but if you’re still unclear on what this entails, here is Design Session 101.

• Choose the amount of time that works for you.
  • On-site Design Sessions range from 2-6 hours.
  • Remote Design Sessions range from 30 minutes to 3 hours.
• Schedule your Design Session.
  • On-site is recommended for most new clients in the RVA area.
  • Remote is recommended for repeat clients OR for those new clients who are not occupying the space yet, or live outside of RVA.
• What happens during a Design Session?
  • Work with our Creative Director and lead Interior Designer Lee in real time to make design decisions about things like:
    • planned renovations
    • furniture placement
    • paint colors, furniture finish/fabric choices
    • What new pieces should I incorporate? Are there existing pieces that work well?
    • …and more!

• Do I need to schedule another Design Session?
  • Depending on the size of your project, there have been many clients who walk away happy from one Design Session with all of the actionable information they need for a space. We strive to be quite efficient! However, for larger projects, or more detailed needs, you are welcome to book as many Design Sessions are you need.
